Depth Of Field (DOF)
Depth Of Field is the distance between nearest and furthers object in given scene which will appear sharp. You can modify DOF by changing the aperture settings using the following rule; the wider the aperture, the shallower the DOF.
Other way of changing the DOF would be using commonly known Adobe Photoshop. I would be useful when the picture couldn't be taken using small aperture due to lack of light, but you still wanted to have shallow DOF.
Shallow DOF is a very creative way to focus viewer's attention to specific subject, especially when shooting portraits. On the other hand deep DOF would be used in landscape photography when you have to present whole shooting distance.

Evaluation
The theme of my project is Evolution. I have decided that I want to show "fake interaction" between people which occurs very often. My idea started of when I found myself in situation where I was the only one trying to interact with my friends whilst they were using their mobile devices. I did not start filming it straight away which led to major failure as I did not finish my final movie. Although I have managed to record 6 clips for the single camera techniques which came out pretty well. I have looked at few videos which helped me to understand different techniques. My favorite director is Michael Bay as he efficiently uses variety of camera techniques and angles which can be seen for e.g. in Transformers films. I have learnt how poor my time keeping skill is and this will help my manage my time in future projects. I really want to finish off my initial idea as it seems to be very interesting when finished.
If there was anything I could change it would be timekeeping and more concentration. To sum up whole year I feel like I am in the right place and I want to carry on with interactive media. I also have learnt variety of skills when it comes to editing and making videos as well.
I did fail when it comes to my final piece but I can show that I had a go at making it.
